In fostering an atmosphere for the intellectual exchange of scientific data and idea associated with the study and advancement of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), BRI organized and sponsored a "Visiting Scholar Program". From November 1997 through June 1999, we had the privilege of sponsoring 26 high-caliber scholars from 15 reputable research institutes in China. A collection of their reviews on TCM has been compiled and published to promote international exchange and spawn further activities in TCM development.
BRI facilitated the establishment of the Neuroscience Alliance of Hong Kong which strives to bring together the latest advancements in diagnostics and therapeutics to benefit patients suffering from neurological diseases. The alliance members include the Hospital Authority and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
